 Position Summary: 

The Vice President of Business Development will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our client. This position is responsible for developing their own tactics and generating their own leads and executing strategic plans to increase sales, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, and expand the company’s market presence. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and drive company growth 
  • Identify new market opportunities and create plans to expand the company’s reach in the luxury residential construction market 
  • Execute the sales process  
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development goals with overall company objectives 
  • Drive sales efforts to attract high-net-worth homeowners and secure new construction projects 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, and other key stakeholders in the luxury home market 
  • Drive the entire sales process, from initial client contact to contract negotiation and project initiation 
  • Understand market data to develop insights and strategies for targeting potential clients and enhancing market positioning 
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and attract potential clients 
  • Lead and mentor the business development team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
     

Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of proven experience in, sales, or a related role within the luxury residential construction industry 
  • Strong understanding of the high-net-worth market and experience working with affluent clients 
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening 
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative business development plan 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and trends 
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products 
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
